My mother converted, im telling you, its an amazing process, to grow in H', and Avrhaham was alive before the giving of the Torah, and Am Yisroel wants to make sure, that every new spark, to enter into this nation, is pure at heart, and willing to carry out the will of H' in all circumstances. Despite some things being hard, its not easy to be a Jew, and the easy way isnt always the best :))
