Here it is, my first project for Cinema 33. This is an homage to American Psycho and it was my inspiration for the entire project. The last act is a different thing though. It was something that I was thinking of when doing this project and I felt it was the appropriate closure to the scene. It's only 3 minutes long since that was our requirement. This is my silent film with only one line said throughout the entire scene. Some director influences include Jean Luc Goddard, and Sergio Leone.

I was editing this on Final Cut Pro, but I switched back to iMovie since I had some problems importing the footage to FCP. Other than that technical problem, this wasn't too much of a big deal. I still got the same results with iMovie.

The budget was $35 surprisingly.

  • I really like the feel of this short. Where did you get the music from. I wish I would have waited to see it in class... The preparation could have been a little shorter. But I like it as a whole. Want to see more!

  • Yeah pacing was the number one concern with post production. And yeah, the reflection is really noticeable although it's too late to change it. Thanks.

Oh and sorry for being impatient and posting it early. I had a lot of fun doing it so I wanted people to see it right away.

  • Good job !!

  • Thanks man, maybe I should have given you a proper credit rather than just a general Special Thanks.

  • NICE!

  • Thanks a lot!

  • ah ah ah

  • Also. I can see your reflection in the zoom in shot in the hallway. Not sure if that is a concern for you. Once again good job.

  • Thanks Trent, just asking in particular, which shots did you think were great?

  • Dude...I liked it a lot. Some shots were really great! :)
