  • Atleast he died what he loved doin. If only he was driving a holden we wouldnt be in this mess

  • I used to be in SCCA racing. I remember a friend (Jim) of mine stopped racing after his wife begged him to stop. We just had another friend (Mark) killed at a track in California. 1 month later Jim sold his race car to please his wife as she was 7 months pregnat. On a weekend the rest of us was at another race, Jiim was on his way home after delivering the car to the new owner when he was hit by a trucker who fell asleep at the wheel. JIm was killed instantly.

Die doing what you Love.Like Pete

  • One of my close friends was talking to him that very day at the race.... Such a loss :(

    Australia loses a motorsport legend

  • Guess he should have called in sick...

  • Let's see the corps under that blu tarp, it's a fun sport after all!

  • "killed himself"??did Simoncelli too?Senna?he died in a very high risk sport doing what he lived, breathed and shat!unfortunately, because he ran a tight busy schedule,he didn't get time to test the car on the track before the weekend of racing started.I could only imagine, this wouldn't have deterred him with the total confidence he had in his own driving ability.it was an unfortunate accident and "should have, could have, would have" is irrelevant.......

  • It appears to be clear how peter was killed not through speed or bad roads but through age combined with years of sucking down on car emissions. List to some of peter final interviews when asked how his race went he he would explain how the weekend started and take forever to answer the question. If Peter had of retired from racing when he said he would and kept on racing then he would still be alive. he KILLED HIMSELF....
