To date, "Underneath Your Clothes" is Shakira's third most successful single worldwide, behind only "Whenever, Wherever" (2001) and "Hips Don't Lie" (2006)

maybe people just need to listen and read without thinking too much...i think her lyrics make perfect sense, she comes from a non english speaking country and chooses her words differently, unlike some of the performers these days, and i say performers only because no one writes their own material for themselves these days. I have alot of respect for Shakira, she is somebody who stands out from the rest, not having to wear extreme costumes and swearing in her music, or 'transform' herself.

This is my most favorite song by Shakira. Brings back so many damn memories. How I miss the year 2001 and 2002. Even had the Laundry Service CD (w/ this exact song on it). Remember watching this music video on TV. She looks the best I've ever seen her here-- simple divine, sexy, and full of class. What a foxy lil' thang. I wish I looked this good! LOL
