Great Cajun band play in the movie "Southern Comfort" (1981) the song ... Parlez-nous a boire, non pas de Mariage... "Tell us a drink, but no marriage" Old French folk song, sung at weddings by the friends of the couple, speaking of the problems of man with his wife. This was sung in the late night of drinking in the cafes in the Marriage and longest Party return. The traditional French song often sung in Bilingual French and Occitan, (the south/West country & center of France language) If you interesting, try "Nos n'amam pas d'aici (Ne partons pas d'ici) Félix Trébosc & Amis" on my Vidéo

If you marry a girl who's beautiful
you are in great danger
we will come to steal you
---
If you marry a girl who's ugly
you are in great danger
you'll stay with her all your life...

  • @juvelir888 believe that to be Frank Savoy...another great cajun musician.

  • One of the great movies, under rated world wide, should be re-released. The music alone is a winner.
