@TonyGreens99 If you can afford a bit more go for the 250. it has a few more settings and has a pinpointer. Both good machines though!

with the garrett ace 250 use all metal mode, dig all signals except iron, yeah your gonna dig loads of crap aswell but in england a lot of hammered coins come under foil and ring pull so ya gotta dig everything

The problem I have with mine is that the tone is the same PITCH (as in note on a piano key) for a coin or aluminum, or anything accept iron. Iron is the only one with a low tone. When I'm on a trashy area, a lot of times, there are tons of shorter, some fairly lengthy signals, that have the same pitch tone as the Bell Tone. It is such a happy sounding tone, like Wheel Of Fortune, for example that it becomes annoying. The only thing I notice about coins, silver, is the Bell Tone repeats more.

@biggstile Its the price range! You get what you pay for! Even though the high end machines still read pull tabs as coins! Just watch some of the vids on here! I can usually tell if its a rubbish signal just by the size of the pinpoint area A can will sound the pinpoint signal over a wider area than a coin size object. Not always right but thats part of the fun!
