Why does everyone use a negative word like Emo about anything that is not pop?

It's overused, imo. I think the song is great blues.

Emo doesn't necessarily have to be an insult. Back in the day all it meant was music with emotion. But now the term has kind of spun out of control after being incessantly used by wimpy guys to insult wimpy guy bands that nobody likes in order to feel better about their lack of masculinity, the term slowly staggering to become the now-official nom de guerre of one of the most pathetic genres of music to date. They should call it "Overly-Emo" if anything ahahahaha
