This is my guitar cover of "Brown Sugar" by The Rolling Stones released in 1971's album Sticky Fingers. I just love this song. 6 months passed since I re-started to play the guitar. As this song requires lots of barre chords from the beginning to the end, I got muscle pain on my left hand. I need lot more practice.

This song is normally played with open G tuning - D G D G B D (from 6th string to 1st string).

Guitar: Fender Esquire Custom Scorpion
DAW: Live Lite 8,
Audio Interface: Korg Pandora PX5D
iCamera on Macbook Pro
Video editing soft: iMovie

  • Very nice! I just subed and FR'd you please return. I am sending a video response (very humbly after watching your vid) I am having trouble with the Brown Sugar chorus part can't seem to hit the small fill correctly-what notes are you playing there? Thanks!

  • @CanisLupus322 I really love the old stuff too, I grew up on Kansas, deep purple, Boston, Eric Clapton, you could go on ans on, I really dig the Prog- metal scene , dream theater , Circus Maximus , blotted science, Aspera, bands like that. tha guitar is a fender scorpion, I put a seymour duncan dimebucker in it and it sounds amazing.

  • @prognosis77 its all good haha i have a rude vocabulary sometimes. yep mostly metal tho but I love old rock and bluesy stuff. Sweet guitar tho what is it?

  • @CanisLupus322 it's all good, I had a guitar just like that one and I wanted to hear what it sounded like before I bought it. The guy is a good guitar player, I just don't like the stones. Do you play???

  • @prognosis77 no need to get defensive..i wont tell anyone. and why would you watch this video then??

  • @CanisLupus322 no need to get ugly , just an opinion, there are bands that you think suck right, your maturity level is right up there with a 2 year old.
