Police catch a gangster in Taipei, Taiwan

We came home from a night on the town and heard bam bam bam. Living in Taiwan we just thought it was some Chinese fireworks. But it was a high-speed car chase that ended right outside our building. There was a car crash and shots were fired. They finally caught the guy but the story never made it to the news...
*Update: no gangsters live in the neighborhood; the chase started out in Taipei County and ended in the City.

Yeah that's what happens in urban areas. My family lives in the upper class areas now, but my uncle used to be part of a gang (more mafia then teenagers), they did area taxing (taxing all businesses in a certain area). Anyways you have to be careful because pickpocket gangs are common too.
