When the biodiesel was being poured into the cup--I could not stop laughing. That was excellent. And brave.

No need to freak out... it's just a bit. It can give you the runs, though, because it's a great laxative.
Annnnnd, our bodies produce methanol and it's in a lot of the foods we eat/drink (look up some ingredients and you'll freak). But it's only super-small amounts. Any trace methanol in biodiesel (properly-made) is going to be very miniscule.

I understand the concerns with "B99" and toxicity. I work with scientists who research toxins, to be frank if the fuel is washed properly (and its noticeable by smell even if you've never used the stuff before) it is safe to consume. I taste test my batches, and taste test what I buy from retailers before I put it in my tank. If it tastes wrong, its not done right.

Seriously, you should have warned viewers that biodiesel is often made from methanol derived from wood fermentation. Wood alcohol is toxic. Retail biodiesel should be free of methanol after transesterification, but that's not a given!
