Obviously if you were both on solid ground the Rav4 could have won the race, Jeeps aren't exactly known for their acceleration (or fuel efficiency). But you don't buy vehicles like this to race!.

no he had the center part of the road, it started at a gravel pull off where I was, he pulled long side me when I was waiting of everyone else to catch up. he was on the main part of the road.

When the rav4's engine was up around 5k (about 40 MPH) the tires started spinning so I let off; they were spinning from the start but more power came at higher RPMS
