The bayonet is shaped like that so the enemy could not close the wound in the field and would bleed out.. Also, You have the 91/30 model, Which is just an infantry rifle.. The sniper rifle is the 44, It has a fixed fold out bayonet. I've said this on another one of your videos but i just watched this one and figured id say it here aswell.

You know I don't recall, thanks for watching the video though, I'm gonna do another one soon of the rifle in action, also of a pistol that I just picked up that was a South African police weopon...

I think the groves let air into the wound so the bayonet wouldn't get stuck...
