i did that already, but my chao seems to drop the seed when it's suposed to plant it...
I have the shovel and everything, so i don't know what's wrong... Is it the Chao that won the shovel the only that can plant?

Yes, only the chao with the or shovel race badge can plant seeds.

I used Action Replay,..(I only use it for money and other characters though!)

Well actally, I believe you only need to beat the first three, but it's best to beat all of them so they have the race badge.
