In 1965, at 12 years old, I heard Jimmy Smith on the B3 and immediately ordered "Live in Paris" and "Strangers in Paradise" from Columbia Record Club. Through years of changing musical tastes, psychedelia, folk, Rock, blues-rock, heavy metal, rap, grunge and numerous household moves,I've still have them!! Nobody compares to Mr. Smith.
