What can you do with a single note/sound? Besides its legendary tone, the Moog Synthesizer is known for its monophonic nature - the ability to produce only 1 note at a time. Therefore, the goal of The Moogist is to "think outside the box" with this certain limitation - whatever it takes - to make beautiful music with this amazing machine/instrument.

  • Actually, it would be cool to see you take one note and tweak it beyond recognition through a whole song. I like your music. Good Stuff. Attitude was a fun one to watch.

  • hmm...that sounds like a good idea. Look out for that! Another video coming soon

  • @balero98: thanks for your comment/suggestion. I finally carried it out i believe in my recent video "Jackson Pollock (Moogist Commentary)", where i kept hitting a single note (Eb) and explored the possibilities. please let me know any more comments suggestions!

  • Dude, from like 2:40 to 3:30, that's really freaking sick. Awesome playing.

I'm not even a big Moog fan, but this thing sounds awesome under your fingers.

  • @cuttybang

It's called monophony. Anyone that knows what a Moog is knows that's what he meant. One note at a time.

  • how is that supposed t be only 1 note?

    Think outside of this box:

Do what your title claims. Play 1 note and modulate it.

    not...more than one...at...a...time...
