Australian Tv ads in the 1980's No 1

I will start uploading my vast collect of Australian Tv ads that I recorded on my first VHS recorder using Kodak 240min tapes from 1981 to approx 1988, most of these ads you'll see will be mainly from the early to mid 80's. The ads are from free to air channels based in Melbourne, Vic, Australia. Sorry if the quality is poor with some of these clips because I had to reduce the quality to help speed up the uploading process. Please check back for a regular basis for new uploads. I also have a vast collection of Australian tv ads from the 90's but it'll be a while until I find the time to upload these. Hope you enjoy.....

Hi Matt, Im an Aussie actress, Virginia Hey, I modeled in the 70's and 80s and appeared in about 50 TV adds.. My model agency at the time lost all my tapes and I now only have 3 left.. Id love to gather them all up! Do you have any by chance?

Listen... I was wondering if you remember a partcular ad...

I think it was for Kodak film. There was this really moving song, whose words went along these lines:

"I can remember a million places,

far off cities,

old friends faces...

The days it rained, the years it didn't.

A bottle with a message in it..."

Anyway, I'm sure I'm missing a lot of it, and it's possible that it was an ad for a competitor of Kodak, but if you remember it, can you please let me know more about it?

Hi , these are amazing ... any chance you have a copy of an ad aired inabout 1980 for Paddy's Makets Sydney - the jingle was 'Come on down to Paddy's' and I was the 'Jeannie' in the caroselle ... but never got a tape or a copy ... It would be wonderful to see it again !! Thanks, Donna x
