  • @Phil145021 Well fuck man you might not find them on a new construction site or something but its fine for a small ass job like this. I dont use the screens at all but this definatey beats fucking wet sanding. And it not like you see this guy trying to sand a 100 boards with it just some little ass patch. Works fine on houses with furniture and shit to keep dust from going everywhere and having to wipe down all their shit

  • Well yes its definately in your way the whole time but its worth it. What extra time you spend maneuvering it around your arms you save in clean up time. I wouldn't recommend this product for new construction basically because it doesnt really matter if you get dust everywhere but its definately a great tool for patches and repairs with the clients furniture and belonging inside the room because it practically makes no mess whatsoever.

  • I used this product in a busy hospital and nobody knew I was sanding!!!!!it works great it does take more time and the screens do. but there are place where you cannot sand at all. and to me after 30+ plus years in I never saw anybody wet sand I have seen people try but the job comes out lumpy

  • It's a neat idea, but the suction makes it very slow to move around on the gyp board. I adjusted the air inlet but was still wrestling the damn thing, which as mentioned before leads to gouges and srcapes with the suction causing a loss of finesse. I just use a hand sander in one hand, and hold a vaccuum hose to a bad-ass Rigid vac with the Hepa filter in the other.

  • I have this tool and I thought it worked extremely well. I used fine screens for the final sanding and it was smooth as can be. The medium screens do leave fine lines that I dont think would show through the spray on texture but to be safe I used fine for the final sanding.

  • This product is perfect to sand your workshop, garage or doghouse. You will NEVER, EVER see something like this on a REAL job. Screens scratch and gouge. Well then "why do they make them?".........That's easy!......BECAUSE PEOPLE BUY THEM!

  • You have to use the screen type sanding pads, be forewarned, they leave scratches. No one in my area will use it. This is no good for high end work. I still clean up with a hep vac.

  • These are great. I got mine online at hydestore but you can also Google Hyde Dust Dog and find them. MUCH BETTER than my contractor's approach of covering my TV and computer and couch in 6 freaking layers of dust.

  • Thanks man I was so about to start my basement and my concern was the dust

  • Did anyone else stop watching at 1:19 when he says its made in Canada?
