A glimpse of the Bella Vista,AR walking trail and Veterans Memorial near my home.
We had 4 inches of snow on the ground when I shot these scenes, by 5:00 pm we had about 6-8 inches (15-20cm). There was freezing rain and sleet the night before, so the snow
was crunching under my feet. Temperature around 25F (-4C) .
Scenes recorded by cleaverb near Lake Bella Vista on January 29, 2010.
Using an analog JVC camcorder to record video. Capwiz to upload to computer.
And Ulead Video Studio to edit and add music. HP digital camera.

  • I'd like to have snow where I live...

  • if someone could tell me the lyrics and the meanings, I'd really appreciate it. great song. :]

  • @joanofarcxxi What you're talking about is the yoik, which is really more a method of chanting rather than a "type of song"... and it comes from the reindeer herders of the SUPER far north like up in the Arctic Circle... so you are on point as far as the language goes, but I think you need to shift northeast... i.e. the Yoik is from the northernmost reaches of Finland. But yea. Definitely Scandinavian. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

  • Most sublime!

  • excellent music. the video is pretty too. the language sounds like it might be what the Sami in northern Sweden speak, but I don't know...I am guessing, because Martin is Swedish, but that does not sound like standard Swedish, so, Sami is a possible option.

  • @cleaverb Sounds Indian.

  • It's actually "Omniom" with an "m" :)
