Hello. subscribers and friends.
Thank you for your watching my video.
At first, I'm sorry but this video is very long. It has over 9 minutes.
This video is for who ask me about small guitar amp.

I'm often asked the same question from so many people with comments or messages.
That goes like this.
"Can I have the Slash's tone with my cheap amp?"
My opinion is "maybe yes", but if you ask me "HOW?",
my answer is "I don't Know".
That's no offense but I'm not a guitar shop guy or something
so I don't know about the gears that I've never touched.
Finding the better way with some gear should be done by its users, not me.

But I think and believe every equipment has its sweet spot.
So you can get the good tone with your gears
even if they are not so expensive ones.

In this video, I use Marshall VR15R, a small, cheap solid state amp for beginners.
I don't know how will you think but I think it's not so bad.

The gears in this video are, Gibson Les Paul Classic 2000, a monster cable, and small Marshall. That's all! There's no effect.
The master volume of the amp is "FULL", all through this video.

I hope this video will work for you to know there should be some way
with your small amp.

Believe your gears, so you can do something! Thanks :)

  • hi ;) what are your amp settings treble? gain1? gain2? bass? contour? master volume? ;)

  • hey.what's your amp settings: treble? gain1? gain2? bass? contour? master volume? ;)

  • thx dude! i bought one only because of this vid, great amp

  • nice guitar, nice amp. however if you are buying a small amp vox practice amps have better tone quality than marshalls especially if the marshall is an mg series

  • so... How much is it?

  • @20vtrueno Ha, ha, that`s good! It REALLY sounds like a strangled crocodile, let`s put a detail on it: like a muddy strangled crocodile. :-) And that`s the exact thing for me doing bluesy things or early metal stuff like the marshall sound captured on the first Judas Priest records. I have to admit, if you need more gain, you`re in trouble with this amp, also on the opposite if you wanna play it clean.

  • @pacingBlue Totally agree. Since I`m using a bb preamp in front of it, i play nothing else. I even put down my friend`s brand new Marshall Class 5 Tube amp. I must be a weirdo. But I like the crunchy sound the most, which the uploader avoided, that would be gain 1 fully open, gain 2 about a half. This kind of thing...

  • @123marijn321 Not much, round 4 kilo.

  • @browncitycrew As it came out in the mid-90ies it was about 1oo Euro. So as the uploader said it was one of the cheapest Amps. Let`s say the best of the cheapest. :-)
