  • did you have a good time?? that city is gorgeous! i lived there for five years when i was younger.

  • We had a great time. The local shops were interesting and the food was good and its prices were good. We also liked seeing all the other people from out of town like the fisherman and tourists.

One of the guys that came with us vacationed here when he was a boy and he said lots have changed.

  • yeap. it's more dangerous now, according to my sister, who lives there. more people are arriving, but people who lives in ghettos and stuff and they dont have a job. the goverment gives them all: money, a house, everything. well, a job. lol. so there's more robbery and insecurity because they are staling houses as well. but besides that..it's a lovely city. i loved living there.

  • Stealing houses? do you mean robbing them instead?

  • GRACIAS!

  • actually the problem is that people is staying in pieces of land that belongs to the government, in the hills mostly, and they build their own houses with the trees from the forest they need to cut down. so the problem is that they have no basic services so garvage is being dump in the nature and they need wood so they cut down the trees, is terrible for the envireoment. but people came to work not to rob or steal... is not the same as 15 yars ago when population was 20.000 but its still quite.

  • I think the population is between 55,000 to 65,000 depending on the season and economy.

  • stealing the land. and the house. they stay there, before the people who own that house move in. at least that is what my sister told me. and the goverment dont take them out. so they keep the house. it's kinda confusing, i dont know if you understand me
