See Danny Cox preparing The Weekly Top 30 as broadcast in the summer of 1989 across Trent FM in both Nottingham and Derby and Leicester Sound, then known as Sound FM.
Danny Cox was a very flash jock and loved all the 'bells and whistles' which he frequently dropped in to the show on cart. A master of the earliest forms of split broadcasting. Enjoy!

  • After the closure of Trent FM, we wanted to tell you about the launch of trent.fm on 01 June 2011, it will re-capture the magic of Radio Trent from the 1980s and early 1990s and aims to bring local radio back to Nottingham, the capital's London and Trent is Nottingham! We are looking for programme ideas and any ex-Trent staff will be VERY welcome.

  • Even the legend that is Andy Miller gets airtime on the 'tube, great insight to a great time in UK ILR and one of the UKs greatest set of stations.
