If there is a man inside or it is being controlled remotely then it isn't a true robot, however this video is from 2006 (updated in 08) and it is now 2011 and it is conceivable that if someone had been doing research and engineering non-stop since then we could indeed have a true "robot" version of this dog. The question is, is the research happening or are all these projects spending a lot of time on dusty shelves?

Not animatronic,the movement is very human,unless there's a guy named Nunian Sung who makes androids , I doubt that's mechanical.
