I just wonder in what way people see improvement in their grappling game from these exercises. Is it purely endurance/conditioning? Any direct benefit when executing technique?
Not being negative at all, just trying to learn and understand the end result of the effort I put in to anything I do. The exercises look fun and challenging. I am willing to give it a try for sure!

Hi missionkid- I dont know about Sambo, but the Shaolin Temple in Tufnell Park teaches very high quality Sanda, (San Shou- Chinese Kickboxing) It incorporates punches, kicks, knees, catches, sweeps and throws... I've been training there for 10 years now under the instruction of Shaolin Masters Shifu Yanzi & Shifu Yan Lei, and i highly recommend you come down for a trial class! Look up shifu Yan lei on the web and you'll see what i mean! Hope this helps.

They are very versatile and seem really good for power training. I think I'm gonna try it.
