But you are being a hypocrite, you've been ranting on about contradictions in Asylum of the Daleks for a while but when you consider contradictions in Genesis of the Daleks to be justified you are being hypocritical.

Nu-hu has more plot holes than most shows. DW for 26 years didn't have many MASSIVE plot holes, like destroying an entire planet & then having it return with no explanation. Nu-hu is very heavy on the continuity, but can't keep to it at all. It contradicts itself every 2 seconds. That's substandard, even for a TV show. DW used to be sophisticated, now it's a dumbed-down cartoony soap.

You guys do realize it is a pointless argument you're having. Of course their is plot holes, a tv show does not survive for 50 years going through as many writers and lead actors as DW without some serious plot holes. But the beauty of DW is that we continue to love it and to be fans of it through the great and the not so great (do i have to mention The Unicorn and the Wasp?^^). Yes the styles of writing and structure of the show has change a lot but does it make it necessarily worst?

Point: The Time War was of a temporal nature and partly fought in the vortex itself. The Timelord High Council had their hands full dealing with people who kept dying then undying then dying again. Who says Skaro wasn't affected by these events.
