Hey guys! Got some new rotalla indica for a buy 2 get 1 free! I went to Petco, andf they had the best selection they ever had! They had driftwood with anubias, baby tears on lava rocks, and even a bunch of new plants like ludwigia repens and rotalla. Now i regret not buying the repens last night. I'll probably replace the palustris with repens and put the palustris in the 6 gallon once i get that set up. Then, i'll move it up a little bit. Hoping that the water wisteria and anacharis will grow nice and i know that it will! Going to be uploading some plant videos aswell as some older videos that i forgot to upload probably. Please comment, and subscribe if you like my video, and i also was wondering if you guys could give me some thoughts if the tank will be okay with the corys or if it is overstocked or too small for them and the betta? Thanks for watching, hoped you liked my video :D More to come soon!

  • Cool. Its a nice tank and very well planted. I cant hear your filter at all so what kind of filter do you use???? Thanks

  • @CGkawaiicrafter Thank you! IT looks a lot different now i actually liked it before i re did it but it didnt look that good in this video. Anyways its just a cheapo aqua-tech 5-15 HOB filter. They're like 10 or 11 bucks at walmarty. Highly reccomend them. CHEck out my filter video i mention them :D

  • Great tank, but I suggest getting at least 4 cory's.

  • @spikes4298 Thanks. I don't think i could fit 4 corys and a betta in a 5 gallon? Do you? Also check out my new 6 gallon and 5 gallon that i just planted!

  • @spikes4298 Yeah... I think two for this tank is fine.

  • I would get a few more cory. They are schooling fish and love to be around their own kind. Check my vids out of my 55 gallon. Also, cories do best in a sandy substrate as they like to filter the sand through their mouths. I went from 3 to like 25 cories after they bred.

Plants are looking great! You definitely know what you are doing, you could step it up to a 29 gallon.

  • @Gritzaable Thanks for the reply! 'm using amaco mexican red clayy and then a layer of miracle grow organic choice, and then a layer of petco frosted lack gravel. Next time i would use less dirt and more gravel because my substrate is kind of dirty with dirt particles resting on the gravel. Also im setting up a 5 hex and a 6 gallon marineland eclipse these are going to have either eco complete or dirt and then eco complete as a cap. What do you think? Eco complete is a lot finer grain=plant grow

  • what substrate are you using?
