  • I do question the authenticity of this video, as no spider that size could construct a web of such strength. Perhaps the ones in South America that are the size of small dogs could do so, but not this particular spider. Moreover, how could this spider feed on prey that size? And if the video IS authentic, why didn't the idiot narrator do something to rescue the bird (if it was still alive) or at least (even if it was dead) free it from the web? She could actually watch something like this?

  • @spartacus3ful The bird was already dead and we did remove it from the web. I can't explain how the spider caught it, but it did. Their webs get to be about 3 feet in diameter and they catch grasshoppers, etc. But there was a large much thicker string of webbing (kindof like what they do in the center of their web, but even thicker) that went all the way around the bird. Never expected to get this kind of viewing from this silly video, tho. :)

  • @prsuasv Why the hell did you remove the bird?

  • your next

  • @spartacus3ful For example "Darwin's bark spider" (which are pretty small in size, the females are about 18 millimetres in size and the males are only about 6 millimetres) yet they are known to produce the biggest and strongest webs (about twice as strong as most other spider webs)

  • @spartacus3ful do you realise how strong spider webs actually are? the size of the spider doesn't indicate the strength of the web, if the web was well built enough that spider could easily catch the bird.

  • @prsuasv you shouldnt even explain it, dats just one of dem people dat wanna sound smart

  • banana spider or both depending where you at i guess

  • @spartacus3ful u need to stfu, why would she save the bird, it's nature's way, don't interfere.

  • DAMN NATURE!! U SCAREH!!

  • @spartacus3ful uhhhhh, thats not really relevant.
