This was done just to see how it would sound between removing the old system, and adding a better system. There was a 6hp LOSS in power with this. Don't do it to your own car. It's lame as crap.

did the strait pipe today on my 01 sc2, anddynoed her bfor and after, before 169hp and 154tq to the wheels, and after 175hp and 155tq to the wheels, not much of a torque gain though, aem intake, american cams stage 2 mildly done, and yes, now the straitpipe, sounds alright actually and not too ricey, and yes nice litle backfire but not alot to worry about

@mojojojostwincam Cool, man. I'm guessing you saw gains where I saw losses is due to the cams. The stock ones just don't move enough air to be effective with a wide open exhaust.

I think a lot fo you guys missed the point that this was a TOTAL joke. I lost power doing this. Don't fucking straight pipe your car. This was the intermediate step between a stock - ish exhaust and a proper exhaust setup.

Yeah, SC2s suck, compared to more expensive shit. Dollar for dollar, your civic won't touch one though. What's the point of bitching this one out online? None.

My saturn blew away civic like they were standing still, and I only had intake and exhaust. go ahead, talk shit saying I'm wrong, you wouldn't know, you weren't there. just buy a saturn and find out for yourself.

@llotuner nope, actually the dyno showed, the only other mods i got are short ram intake, mildly tuned cams, headers, and strait 2.5" exhaust with hi flow cat. it does well this way, and you can say what you want, but the dyno said otherwise

If you youtube search a video of any car, everybody who owns that car will say it's the fastest car when modded. It's kind of ridiculous if you ask me. Hell I've seen people arguing over whether or not a Supra is better than a stock Civic. C'mon, what are you trying to say anyway by driving a fast Saturn? I couldn't afford an STI so I bought the only thing I could afford.
