Holy Crap, thats the exact same hotel I stayed in! An btw, you were right about Ueno not being in Tokyo City, but it is part of the Tokyo Municipal Area, the 12 "special districts" and all that

hey im going to japan to visit my husband who's in the navy, I have in fact been there before an yes it is a wonderful place to visit and live. My husband loves it im moving there sometime soon soon after he gets promoted. Im so excited to live there.

The english just after the Japanese were the translations... "kawatta koto ga arimasen ka?" "so tell me, what's going on, how's everything going?" (lit, "is there nothing that's changed?") etc... Handy phrases ^_^
