Germany is famous for its environmental protection policies. We were one of the first countries to separate rubbish for recycling. And now we are one of the leading countries when it comes to alternative energy technologies. But how green can we really be when we look at all our cars?
What are Germans doing to save the world?
Never try to rip a German and his car! Take his wife away instead and he´ll be your best pal forever.

in 2007 CO2 per capita was below 10 tons
and next time the editorial department looks up data such as the 'most environmental friendly town' than please include the eastern part, particularly Brandenburg. Sometimes its better to think about your work for one day rather than just working one day...

well... at least we don't have towns in germany without sidewalks as in the usa. By the way: when i'm in town, I go by foot everywhere i go to. even i had a car i would only use three or four times in a month to make some bigger shopping. it's just not worth it to go everywhere by car, because gas is expensive and praking lots are either rare or expensive, too. that's why I'm going to spend my money to get my bike repaired tomorrow.
