Remember this video game? I am sure many of you do: It is SSX, one of the original launch titles for the Sony PlayStation 2 in 2000. And to this day, it is original -- one of the best video games ever created. It was ranked #10 as the best launch title among any video game platform, according to this link:

http://ps2.ign.com/articles/709/709890p1.html

Ironically, when I purchased my Sony PlayStation 3, this was the first game I played on it.

How did we go from the bad-ass appeal of SSX to SSX....Blah for the Nintendo Wii? What did EA do to this franchise?

BTW, yes, I created this video game demo on my Sony PlayStation 3. This video is one continuous shot.

  • Jesus, that brings back some happy 10-year-old memories from my (now deceased) Playstation 2...

  • They're rebooting SSX! Watch the "Bringing Back the Franchise" developer videos. DON'T watch the teaser trailer back when it was called "SSX Deadly Descents" though. It doesn't represent the game at all.
