Review and brief demonstration of the Remora holster, a clipless concealment holster for a variety of handguns. The holster is made from a durable non-slip vinyl material. It is moisture resistant, and due to its design, is ambidextrous. Remora holsters are manufactured in Florida from American-made materials. Each holster is handcrafted and hand-inspected. There are non-reinforced top and reinforced models. At the date of this video, prices range from approximately $25 to $30, which are subject to change. Remora offers a no-questions-asked lifetime guarantee. Prior to this video, I carried two of these holsters for up to 5 weeks.

Handguns shown in the video are Glock 19, Glock 22, Bersa Thunder Plus, S&W Model 438, and Colt 1911 Government.

The holsters in the video were provided to me by Remora. I was asked to provide an unbiased review. The concept of actually using these for a period of time prior to posting this video was my idea, not their request or suggestion. I will continue to use these holsters and provide updates as necessary.

APRIL 26, 2011 - I received a call tonight from Alan Remora, founder and owner of REMORA Holsters. We had not communicated at all prior to this video, discussions were through a gentleman that I would consider a friend of his and partner in the business. He thanked me repeatedly for producing the video and noted that an order or two had already come through as a direct result. We conversed for a good 45 minutes. He is genuine with his desire to produce a quality American-made product, and with supportive U.S.-based customer service. Alan is also an ardent supporter of the 2nd Amendment and the shooting sports.

MAY 27, 2011: I received another call today from Alan Remora. He was again grateful for the review, but especially the response from viewers with regard to ordering holsters, inquiries, etc.

  • Have you heard of or used Crossbreed holster's?

  • @poisonstinger

I have heard of those but never used them.

  • looks good but I have to ask what about sweatpants...I cant imagine it working with them...and not falling down. Thanks for the video.

  • @glockster68

It did not work with me and sweatpants. You must have tension with either tight pants or a belt.

  • @tnoutdoors9 Hybrid holsters like Cross Breed, Minatour, White Hat Holsters, and Galco Kingtuk are great. You should try White Hat or Minatour for your reviews.

  • Galco Stow N Go IMO is better due to the clip. Plus its cheaper... Remora is sorta 'gimmicky'

  • great video and nice collection , FYI, the lettering and numbers inside tell the size and if it per say reinforced top, for laser and or type of cut....... going to give one a try myself....thanks

  • Excellent video...I own three of these holsters...Glock 23 and 27 and a Makarov. Everything that you noted is SPOT ON! Thanks for the video

  • Looks like I've found an outfit for my Bersa Thunder UC 40 . Thanks for the upload, a very informative and matter of fact kind of video.

  • very nicely done! Great review! I will be ordering one for my G32.

    Thanks for uploading

  • Looks like a great holster and a great review by the way. I'v been looking for a thin holster for my glock 26 as I am having issues with printing - I am thin and wear regular fit clothing. I have a crossbreed holster but it prints worse than a cheap uncle mikes holster - Plus its a pain to put on. Have you ever looked at the Fist #1 ultra thin kydex holster or possibly have some suggestions?

  • Man, this is a super review and such a well pieced together video. This video helped me make my decision.

  • Looks like it is a great pocket holster but for IWB carry I will stick with a standard holster with a clip.

  • have u ever had to use your gun in real life when conceling
