John Landis is such an asshole... No, even being an asshole is above him.
-
@Elricwulf indeed! he got away to easily. when he broke the law in so many ways. and he knew it. and after that he has the nerve to blame others
-
Oh you can see the moron's head popping up into the sky like a champagne cork !

Director: Cut...

@Elricwulf Landi actually went under the table to put the kids there instead of applying for a permit to have them working so late in the night. If he had I can't help but think he might have been turned down due to the nature of the scene, the hazards, etc. If he'd been genuinely remorseful and dedicated himself to preventing such things in the future, wanting people to take set safety more seriously I could see some redemption. No shock Spielberg ended their friendship.

John Landis is a stupid cocksucker!
This is blatant negligence

This was criminal negligence at its best. That stunt was extremely unsafe, the children were illegally hired. Trained stuntmen should have done those stunts if anything. That was extremely dangerous to have a helicopter flying so low with people right below it and suicide to have it so close to the explosives. No director should have even attempted to film this. Even I can see how unsafe the conditions were.

Fucking prick, sits there and smiles while two children and a man gets decapetated
Wow. That's terrible.
John Landis doesn't seem very remorseful about the whole thing. He almost sounds defensive/spiteful. So the only thing he learned from it was that if there is an accident people will look for a scapegoat to blame? He says nothing about improved safety conditions or not using actual children for certain scenes... Those stunt explosions looked pretty powerful. Those poor kids. Man, that sucks.
