someone used to say: mistake is music.too.
-
un virtuoso dell'adagio. grande musicista.
-
Wrong note at 2:34, A sharp should be.
Beethoven would be disappointed on that.
-
7:19 he's got the force!!!!! lol but besides the point this is one of my favorite violin recordings ever

Perhaps one of the musicologically astute repliers can explain the issue of just intonation.

I have your CD , buying on like promissing.
I felt your big beautiful elegant snow heavy as your many efforts of your wills wih foot prints ,your shining wills are making grand impressions in always.
Comfortable ,not moving quickly on your playing lines make your good
music excellent style in mejor as same as a mejor player.
Orchestra and halls with good conductors were like being in front of a god .
Flying bird or open fan by peachoc on your arts is my wish ,next CD.

Excellent, thanks for posting this. Those double stops are thrilling. Several years ago I bootlegged (from front row center) Itzhak Perlman performing this with the Seattle Symphony. Have it on my iPod (along with this year's Frank Zappa piece from opening week btw). But this version is just as good, if not superior, imo.

i once played this piece and i f***ing died by nervosity, it was so terrible! these doublestops in the beginning are so difficult to perform nicely, especially if you're upset...
i love his playing!!
