You don't know what these parents teach their children about homosexuality. These parents are only trying to say that it should be their decision what is taught, not the schools. Most parents I know that teach homosexuality is wrong also teach that you need to, above all else, love everyone, even if you disagree with what they're doing.

The only thing I see changing after Prop 8 was PASSED were hundreds of couples banned from marriage. No one would have been hurt if Prop 8 had failed.

Also, gay marriage would be taught as perfectly normal and moral BECAUSE IT IS.

I am not saying that children can't learn that there are there is such a thing as a homosexual person or couple. They will find that out in life sooner or later. However, that shouldn't mean that schools or society should take precedence over what a parent teaches their child is right or wrong. If parents decide that they don't like what a school system is teaching about what is considered a moral issue, do they have the rights to challenge it? Of course.

I don't understand your argument. A parent still has full rights to teach his or her children in the home. Why does this scare you to have children told the reality of a human condition, homosexuality? And the reality that some homosexual couples decide to commit their lives to each other? I am disturbed what happened in Masachuesttes, I am from California and I know that this would not have been the end of it.
