Macro-converter lens test with Sony HVR-A1 (HD)

A test I ran with my newly purchased Macro lens converter (ebay for less than $40). It's amazing how close you can get to the object without focus problems.

I use a macro lens from Digital Visions in which I bought on ebay for less than 40$. The lens consists of two parts, one macro part and one wide-angle part. If you detach the macro from the wide-angle you can use the macro function as I did on all these pictures. It's fair to say that these images do not show off the lens' full potential because of lighting and the fact that I couldn't come as close to the object as I wanted to (the record was in the way).

When I get the time I will take some more macro shots and maybe post them on youtube. Macro is very fun and cool to experiment with.

thanks for your vids what,s the diffrents between the quality off sony hvr a1 and the

sony hdr fx1000.? i know both are hd camcorders but i want to know about the diffrents between the quality off both camcorder.

Great vid, should have turned off the auto focus though. I think I'll be buying one of those lenses for my A1P.

yeah, it's some great cheap glass i got a couple different sizes for still cameras. Fantastic in motion.
