Non-supercell tornadoes are circulations that form without a rotating updraft. One non-supercell tornado is the Gustnado, a whirl of dust or debris at or near the ground with no condensation funnel.

  • nice view and nice area with mountains

  • Not in any way.

  • i'm sorry buutttt..... NO!

  • that could grow to a big tornado

  • You are mistaken, by it's definition a tornado must by produced by a thunderstorm. Dust devils form in clear weather and although they may look something like tornadoes, they are completely different.

  • Gustnadoes mainly form in the leading edge of a storms gust front. Dust devils on the other hand occur especially in spring, when the air is relatively cold and the ground is heated by sun, causing warm air from near the ground rise upwards. Or for example in gravel pits, where the wind has to change direction suddenly causing air to circulate...
