@roffpoff Perhaps you should ask Wacom why they made it? And the thing you're after at 10-12 inches has been around for only about 8 years called a Tablet PC. Sorry dude but that is a rank comment...

@oztabletpc Those pc's are pricy and ususally bad in pen interface , and bad batterylife. I have been lurking at lenovo tablet....the slate was perfect, but only 3 hours battery , the ipod had np pen interface just touch.

@roffpoff Mate, you're not getting any better here. I use several tablet pcs with 8-10 hours battery life. Even the Lenovo X221T could run for 9 hours if you wanted it to... As for the pen inteface, have you ever tried one? Unlikely me thinks.

Wacom make by far the best computer Active Pen interface in the world and it is awesome to use for writing and sketching. It can have up to 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity, tilt sensitivity and proximity sensitivity.
