  • Energylabs - maybe you can help me. I'm looking at running 10 Cree XR-E Q5. sku 2394 from DX. I read somewhere that if I run 2 strings of 5 cree's each in series and then connect those strings parallel to the 2000mA 30W LED driver sku 42746 which I think is the driver your using. It would lower the output to 1000ma but will it raise the voltage to 36 from the 18v? Or would I be better off getting sku 55364 - 1000mA 30W -36v which allows me to run 10 cree's in series. This driver is a few $ more

  • @sbrun1000 No, that isnt a DC-DC :/ - Dealextreme only have high power ones for AC-DC. and its 86-260VAC!

  • @IndieVisualStudio @racerxdl Yeah I'm planning, I only need to buy one :D - Subscribe my new Channel (@EnergyLabsBR) to see more info ^^

  • @racerxdl Thanks again! Any plans on modding 100W LED drivers? I am awaiting one shortly and would be very grateful if you could give me a hand on chosing the required parts etc.

  • Hey there, great video!

The link to the pot mod is not working, could you tell the part name for the pot and describe the wiring please?? Or just update the link if it exists. Thanx a lot!! =)

  • Thanks. I see that now:) I hoped that you were using a DC-DC driver because thats what I'm planning to do;) I'm thinking to go for some18650cells and a boost converter.
