Juliana was diagnosed with stage three, group three Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma on March 7, 2007. She had 28 days of radiation therapy and 42 weeks of chemotherapy. She was off treatment for three years with no evidence of disease, but we found out that the cancer had returned on March 17, 2011. Julie's new treatment plan includes 12 more rounds of chemotherapy (36 weeks) then another 6 weeks of radiation afterwards.
