Just some test shots using my Canon Vixia taken at Rose Acre Farms, Seymour Indiana.

I threw in some facts about the farm at the beginning. Shots include the barns for the hens, eggs rolling to the washer, post wash, eggs being packaged, packages being boxed and then a wide shot of the facility. The machines featured later in the video are cracking eggs and separating the whites and yolks. Then a couple shots of egg shells being disposed.

Hope this helps you waste a little bit of time =]

  • Machinery that cracks an egg and separates the yoke? I can't even do that very well!

I like your camera work. Great clip.

  • @TVWriterGuy Thanks! I really enjoyed getting this tour, and the opportunity to take a few shots.

It's incredible what robots can do, isn't it?!

  • Amazing, humorous video. What piece is playing and by whom? Thanks!

  • @pebbea

The piece is called "Melody On The Move" and it's being played by Ronald Corp and the New London Orchestra.

It certainly sounds like an educational film.. lol

  • We're so fortunate to have found your site. Watching and listening to Tiger Rag by Richard Hills

is a must a couple of times a week here at the Chronister household. We're in our eighties, married 66+ years and music keeps us young. Thank you so much.

  • my only complaint: you're so talented at the theater organ, why didn't record a cover of this song? I'm sure you could do it justice...

  • Interesting video. Yeah, I liked the music...sounds more like drive-in theater intermission music from the 60's. lol.

  • A great example of cutting a film to music. It's very reminiscent of 1950s-style short feature films. The choice of music (Melody on the Move by Clive Richardson) was just right - beautifully orchestrated and performed.

  • You're right; it is amazing. I never knew eggs went through all of this to get to the skillet!

The style you used in creating the clip reminds me of some the clips Mr. Rogers used to show on his program. He used top-notch guys in his heyday. Thanks for posting it!

  • The best egg video around. Eggcellent and fascinating. Super music too.
