What does this vid have to do with Elvis?

He doesn't sing on it. He didn't write the song. He wasn't even the first to record it, nor have a hit with it.

There's no need to hitch Jackson's wagon to him.

There are more reasons than you know. There is a great documentary on YouTube - "He touched me - The Gospel music of Elvis Presley". Search for "Elvis Presley Part 1" (18 parts). It's also in my Elvis Gospel Playlist. Elvis really admired Mahalias Gospel Music and that's the real reason for his first gospel single "Crying in the Chapel". Would this song be so well known all around the would without his great recording? Of course Mahalias version is still the best, but does that really matter?

when It all comes down to it whoever sings it listen to the words of God we tend to get defocused to make our point, This is God's message if from Mahalia or from Elvis ,they never fought over each other it was just about getting the music to be heard ,praise God and all his instrumental angel voices
