  • Was that Hanks actual cadillac, or just one used for the exhibit??? Because I was wondering what had ever happened to his caddy.

  • That's the one. It was donated to the Hank Williams Museum in Montgomery, Ala., by Hank Williams Jr. It's a gorgeous ride and definitely a highlight of the museum tour. Thanks for the question!

  • Just love the man,

  • my great grandfather was one of the police officers that pulled over hank williams driver for speeding in hattiesburg mississippi that night that he died

  • l have loved HANK for the past 45 years since i heard him in scotland i have a great colletion off MGM LP AND 45 AND 75 records which i took her to canada THOMAS HAVERSTOCK

  • I have always enjoyed Hank Williams music, but I never knew much about him except that he's the father of the dude who I don't like to listen to. But damn, he died at the age of 29? That's nuts, I'm surprised I've never heard that. In my mind that would put him in the same category as great talented people who died young like Marilyn Monroe and James Dean.

  • This makes me miss Cecil. GREAT man, and he did more for Hank's memory than anyone could have. RIP Cecil Jackson.

  • i agree.. but he was sad too... life it tough for some folks.. alcohol is medicine for the really sad folks who can't relate to other folks in this old life .. he was just really good at singing about this kind of thing.. he had talent.. but he was sad.. I am too.. his music has always touched me...I'm still alive. he brought me much joy from his talent.. I still admire him..flawed.. yes.. but still.. a good person.... many of us are flawed.. but few are talented like that..

  • @jpnunn hank died of alcoholic related illness causing liver damaga in other words he was an alcoholic

  • Keep up the good work Mr. Cecil Jackson, Rose and I still remember your caring and kindness during our visit, nov. 2006.

  • Hank Died With A Broken Heart..

  • He mixed alcohol with pills and that's what caused his "heart failure" i do believe
