Leave it to a spin-off to actually develop Taz beyond being a nigh mindless snarling, beastly buffoon. But the fact that he speaks in in his grunts, whines and sputters while the rest of the cast speaks English kind of adds to his character.
At 0:30, his expression is priceless.

"the 2000s got some A and B+ material that blows 90s shows"
So says you. Avatar is practically the lone exception. EVERY generation has a Justice League/Superfriends, Batman, Superman, X-Men, & Spiderman variant, so that's a matter of taste.
"FOP"
Ren & Stimpy, Rocko, Real Monsters, and hell even Doug & Rugrats prior to Dil BEAT that show.
"Boondocks"
Poorly cheap show made to over-use The N Word & have African Americans insult "whites" in response to past greivances.

"the 90s had alot of B and C cartoons with only a few As"
Are you cracked? The 90's WERE cartoons. Nowadays, it's--quote WWE fans regarding Cena--the same old shit, with most of it being brainwashing tween drivel or reality TV.
"south park etc."
South Park was NOT MEANT for families & children, you dolt.
"with a few duds like street sharks."
Yeah, use the TMNT knock-off as a key example. Poor excuse.

"Bruce Tim stuff including JLU & Brave and the Bold"
Umm...Bruce Timm is ONLY associated with JLU and Batman, pal. Besides, he created the DC Animated Universe (DCAU) in the 90's with Superman: The Animated Series & Batman: The Animated Series (which HAD Batman BE serious and he KICKED ASS doing so, since the original comics were MEANT to be a little bit gritty, NOT over-the-top dark like Frank Miller's take, BUT certainly NEVER as campy as Adam West made him).

@dyaakov: Umm...Tasmania is a part of Australia, so....Besides, the show parodies what Americans perceive Aussies to sound like (Jess Harnell singing the theme song, no less in a British attempt to sound Australian), no thanks to the late Croc Hunter, Steve Irwin, who embellished in speaking exactly that fashion.

I agree with every part of what Taz says

@MrKing8050 My guess is, Taz really hasn't found an outlet for the feral hostility stuff beyond being feral and hostile(and comics/bottlecaps, but he's just quite and careful when he's doing that). Hugh flew into a rage once too, but he normally has outlets like golf and massage chairs and OJ to suppress it- same thing with the rest of the family.

@MnufahJa LOLZ! "Hee hee!"

@tazmaniaco65 Yeah, before religious fanatics got a hold on them.
I agree. Hugh is the most awesome character out of the whole series. I love how he's NEVER pissed and nothing negative bothers him. He even has an intelligent way with words.
"Blah blah blah. Yackity, schmakity!"
I wish this show back on TV.

If it weren't for Taz talking gibberish, Hugh would be my favorite character!
I like gibberish. :)
