Barry "The Fish" Melton Sumr of Love 40th

If someone asked me to name ONE person who, to me, personified Acid Rock, or Psychedelic Music, I would have to say Barry Melton. Yeah, I know...I saw Jimi Hendrix three times, and was blown away just like everyone else, but when I saw "Country Joe and the Fish", the guitar of Barry Melton just spoke to my soul in a way nothing else could. Anyone who has listened to "Electric Music For The Mind And Body" probably know what I'm talking about. I know this is a lousy video, and I have a feeble excuse...If you could have seen me trying to keep balanced on the rails behind the cab of the semi truck upon which I was standing, you'd know why the camera's all over the place. Besides that, the guy in the olive green t-shirt's head bounced back and forth every time I tried to get a shot of Barry at the microphone. I might have to hire Barry Melton to defend me in court...In his day job he's an attorney!

Thanks, but I know the video sucks, but thanks...I volunteered to work for 3 days, hoping to get video of Barry and a a few other acts, but was told I couldn't shoot video, so I didn't bother to bring tripod. On the day of the event, EVERYBODY was filming it, and I couldn' get a decent shot of anybody. My videos of Dan Hicks came out worse!

Yes, Marissa, but it turned out even worse than this one, and I was much further away, up on the hillside. I'm afraid I've much to learn about using video cameras, and capturing music with one.

Dude, you seriously need to invest in a tripod! This video quality was awful with all the shaking going on. You did manage to get a few good glimpses.
