VICE guys are such corporate douchebags. Anyone who thinks they are 'the voice of the street' are just total suckers. Please, VICE is a sensationalist rag aimed at making money, and always has been. If you're doing real journalism, you don;t need misogynist bullshit that is VICE magazine. VICE is just plain disrespectful and people mistake that for 'street'. They're with CNN and have an ad agency. Wake the hell up.

Yea, seems like this next couple years will dictate if they dive into the corporate cock.They still run their own company,so they drive their own content and answer to themselves.Wel see if they change up due to advertisers or future partnerships.They didnt have a merger with CNN all they did was link their content to CNNs website,to VBS.tv.No co-production or final cut or anything cunty,yet.Im going to look into VIRTUE. Real success will show their true colors I guess.They havent sold out yet

Although frankly I don;t see too much difference between the two-- nonetheless their business practices are pure corporate, and they are seriously the next generation of the old-boy's club. Their communications director was pulled straight from the political arena, as mentioned in the article as well. I grant Gawker is not exactly dignified press, but it get's the basics down. And note that the writer LIKES Vice, and admits to these issues.

So congrats to all of you VICE followers-- you've bought into their corporate game hook, line and sinker. You want ACTUAL journalism? Go for BBC, Deutsche Welle, Al Jazeera, etc... not as many boobies, pot and cool army outfits, but it's serious and real.
