your dog is so cute i have two great danes and their fully grown so when they do that you could amagine what a image that makes in front of guests and their both boys so they dont tire as quickly

I'm on my second Swissy, and both have done this. All of the sudden, out of NOWHERE they'll just get a burst of energy and start running back and forth, doing laps around the house! And both have done the crouching-down-stance with their head on the floor, too...I think all Swissies share quirks specific to their breed! And to answer aubony's question, I had my first swissy for 12 years and she never outgrew it.

Our Swissie does this outside now that he is 2. When he was younger he'd "rip" through the house, up the stairs, on the beds, and then collapse in a heap. A couple minutes rest and he'd be back at it.
