Hey...I'm gonna be a freshman at Vanderbilt University the following fall myself, and I was wondering the same question. I am currently a 1dan and my current dojo is part of AEUSKF. I would actually test for my 2dan this summer, (but I wanted to travel around since it is my senior year of hs.) My question is are there many vandy students that train with the dojo?

Actually there are no vandy students that train at NKC . I heard that they had some kendo-ish traning there but nothing legit. Some kids with shinais in a gym or so I heard. Come down we would love to have you visit.

You dont have to say sorry. I would not expect a 16 year old kid to understand what is being displayed on this video by my two sensei.

No they dont but where we train in Nashville (Montgomery Bell Academy)is only 5 minutes from your campus. Why dont you come down and train with us, you are most welcome. My name is Jamie- currently Iam the president of the club. We train Sundays at 9am-12pm. Come on out and start practicing. We have 3 sensei all from Japan and they give us the utmost as far as tradition and etiquette.

These are two of my Sensei in Nashville. They boyh are very good teachers and we at NKC are so very fortunate to have them all.
