@TheBagofkittens i think it's pretty cool, some players do this as a handicap to compensate skill and increase difficulty, and in this game works awesome as you get bonuses by increasing your weapon poficiency...
i have a combat rifle only soldier,.... as a challenge i haven't had a single shot with any other weapon

On my first try I shot all my cb rifle shots into it's mouth, got down and finished it with a sniper just as I was going to die, I was stood in the dead center where you start

Yup, I've started with playthrough 2 and I've reset my skills to a balance of the sniper and the gunslinger tier.

Sniper rifles help a lot around that area mate. If u get trespass it ignores the shield for 1 hit kills more or less.

Indeed I know of that, but since I've chosen the gunslinger perk, I've become a pretty addict to revolvers. I rushed this part just because I didn't have a shock revolver.
