I made one using carrots, eagle spit, 4 worn socks, 3 kilos of pig sweat and a handful of hairs from a fat man's ball sack.

I built it from an old laptop. I removed the LCD and the motherboard from the casing. Removed the HD and any unnecessary part from the motherboard and just kept the CDROM. I built a custom WinXP installation using BartPE (Google search it) that is burned to CD and it boots from the CD-rom drive.
