Oxford House Georgia is an outreach program of The Church, and provides housing services for people needing a low cost place to live in a nice neighborhood.
Oxford House is a self-run, self-supported recovery house concept and system of operation for individuals recovering from alcoholism and drug addiction. Oxford Houses assure an alcohol and drug-free living environment. The first Oxford House was started in Silver Spring, Maryland in 1975.

Oxford Houses are democratically self-run by the residents who elect officers to serve for terms of six months. In this respect, they are similar to a college fraternity or sorority. However, if a majority of residents believe that any member has relapsed into using alcohol or drugs, that person is immediately expelled. There are no resident counselors in an Oxford House.

A recovering individual can live in an Oxford House for as long as he or she does not drink alcohol, does not use drugs, and pays an equal share of the house expenses. The average stay is about a year, but many residents stay three, four, or more years. There is no pressure on anyone in good standing to leave.

For folks not quite ready for Oxford House responsibility, or do not currently meet the criteria to be voted into the house, we have Tier 1 houses that can put a roof over someone's head, get them fed, and get them assistance and counseling needed to get them back on their feet.

We also have houses for Veterans too for those looking for low cost living and fellowship with fellow vets.

Just call us, we can accommodate almost anyone!

Oxford houses have 3 basic rules:
Stay Clean and Sober
Don't be disruptive
Pay your share of the expenses

For as little as $12 per day, price Includes:
Comfortable Bed
Furniture
Shower / Bath
Heat / AC
Washer / Dryer
Cable TV / Phone
High Speed Internet / Computer

We are
Affordable, Friendly and
Dependable!

  • i was in an oxford house up i portland maine-- this song is great and lifts my heart.

  • I will live in tranquility and solitude by myself and ed. the only thing for me on north dakota is an elevator straight to the bottom floor... maybe in 2 or 3 years but not now or in the next year though. sorry....

  • from now through the next year I am avoiding everyone! No deals over the next 12 months with anyone, I do not want North dakota's drama in my life one bit. They only want to be your friend when they want something from you, those aren't friends.

  • I just want happiness and I don't see me having it there...
